A husband and wife arranged for some counseling after 25 years of marriage.
When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a passionate, painful tirade,
listing every problem they had ever had in their quarter of a century  together.
She went on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and
uncherished, an entire laundry list of unmet  needs she had been forced to endure
over the past 25 years!
Finally the therapist got up, walked around his desk and, after asking the lady to stand up, embraced her and kissed her passionately.
The woman was astounded and quietly sat down as though in a daze.
The therapist turned to her husband and said, "THAT is what your wife needs at  least 3 times every week. Can you manage that?"
The husband thought for a moment, before replying: "I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays, no problem, but on Fridays, I go fishing."
